The HydroQuest BB4 is designed to be an economic solution to detecting water in an oil system. Often thousands of pounds of damage and many man hours can be lost because a single seal has failed, or a heat exchanger has ruptured. The first sight of problems is generally when the system completely breaks down!

With the advent of the HydroQuest BB4, as soon as free water rises above a pre-determined, adjustable level a relay indicates a fault which can in turn be used to drive an alarm or be used to trip the system. The BB4 can detect as low as 0.5% water in oil.

The HydroQuest is easy to install, with either NPT or BSP thread available to screw directly into your system. Wiring could not be simpler with a single volt free relay, and sensitivity is set with a potentiometer.
