The Direct Mount System, as the name implies, close couples to an isolation valve via a protecting filter. The DMS will fit most piping systems, either directly into a 1/4" NPTF port or with an adaptor. A laser cut precision orifice is used to regulate pressure and control the flow. Installed on the inlet the sensor will naturally measure at atmospheric pressure.

Where system pressure measurement are required, the orifice is fitted to the outlet. A pig tail is supplied to stop back diffusion of moisture. To check that the flow rate is adequate, simply wet the back of your hand, there will be a noticeable cooling from the exhaust.

For more demanding conditions,  where high levels of particulates or liquids may be present, then IMA will design bespoke Sample Systems. IMA can also build custom systems with data caption, or alarm beacons and mutable sirens.
