Managing Director - Paul Stockwell

Paul Stockwell Managing Director

 

Paul has spent the last 31 years working with a variety of analysers and analyser systems. He started with oceanographic instrumentation before moving to moisture analysis for process control. IMA was formed in 1991 focusing on moisture measurement in gases, liquids, and solids and has expanded its field of interest to other species. Paul strongly believes that improvements to process efficiency can be made by better measurements.

Paul is always interested to explore new technology that could be applied to one of the first companies to embrace TDL devices. Paul has sat on a variety of working parties and committees primarily with NPL over the years.


Analytical Services Manager - Jon Raynes

Jon Raynes - analytical services manager

 

Jon joined the company in January 2011, and has quickly found himself a place in the team.

With 12 years experience selling and servicing instrumentation he understands the importance placed on our analysers, and takes pride in making sure projects are fulfulled on-time and on-budget.

 

 

 


Liquid Analysis Products Manager - Chris Liptrot

Liquid analysis products manager Chris Liptrot

 

Chris has been with IMA for 6 years. He started his working life as a technician for Pilkington Glass, before moving into Public Sector information management, and then back into industry. He has over 15 years experience in ‘solution based’ technology sales, working for Elcometer, Pantek and Sensopart. Products included sensors, software and automation products.

He also handles initial sales enquiries for both gas and liquid analysis applications, and so is likely to be the first person that you will speak to about your technical requirements.

 


Service Engineer - Nick Robinson

Service engineer Nick Robinson

 

Nick has over thirty years’ experience in the automation and instrumentation field, having worked as an Installation and Service Engineer. Nick worked extensively in South America and the former Soviet Union.

After serving a technician apprenticeship with ITT, he went on to work on a number of major engineering projects, including the Tunnel Boring Machine that was used in the construction of the Channel Tunnel, and an automated chemical dosing project for Russian aluminium plants, a project that took over five years, and covered eleven sites in five different countries.

Within IMA, Nick is responsible for field service visits. He also assists with compiling technical documentation, manufacturing, and Factory Acceptance Testing.


Research & Development Engineer - David Widdup

 David Widdup Research and Development

David joined the company in 2010.

He is a multi-disciplined engineering manager with extensive experience of product development, including both electronics design and software development.

David's role within IMA is to spearhead the development of new products, and to improve and maintain the existing product portfolio.
